Die Kampagne stellt Kölner Persönlichkeiten wie Simon in den Vordergrund. Christian Solmecke für „Stimme für Köln“ von Gaffel

Ich durfte im Sommer Medienanwalt Christian Solmecke für die „Stimme für Köln“ Kampagne der Privatbrauerei Gaffel fotografieren. Wir besuchten ihn in seinem Büro, wo er tatsächlich auch einen eigenen und vollausgestatteten Streaming/Aufzeichnungsraum für seine YouTube-Videos hat. Mit allem, was dazu gehört. StreamDeck. et cetera pp. Wahnsinn.

Der Bierdeckel zum Motiv ist bereits im Umlauf und in der rheinischen Gastronomie zu finden.

Mo-Torres für seine „Übertrieben Schön“ Tour

Moritz alias Mo-Torres geht dieses Jahr wieder auf Deutschland Tour. Unter dem Titel der gleichnamigen Single „Übertrieben schön“ geht’s einmal quer durch die Republik. Schon im letzten Jahr durfte ich Mo bei mir im Studio für die Bewerbung seiner Tour fotografieren. Primär ging’s um passendes Bildmaterial für die Tour-Dates, Socials und seine Profile im Web. Ein paar Ergebnisse darf ich euch hier zeigen.

Letztes Mal, als ich Eko traf, um ein paar Porträts von ihm zu schießen, drehte er gerade mit 3Sat für die Dokumentation „Kültür für Deutschland„. Wir schossen also in erster Linie in den Drehpausen, zwischen den Location-Wechseln und zum Schluss vor einer weißen Wand im Tonstudio mit dem Dauerlicht der Filmcrew.

Dieses Mal freute ich mich umso mehr, als Eko für neue Portraits anfragte und wir uns einen halben Tag Zeit im Studio nahmen. Zurück in meinem Element, mit mehr Ruhe, Zeit und Ideen sind ein paar schöne Ergebnisse entstanden. Ein paar zeige ich euch hier, mehr in Zukunft bei Eko @ekofreezy.

Seit Freitag ist Maxim’s neues Album „Nachtigall“ draußen und es ist wie alle Alben zuvor einfach hervorragend. Das sage ich als Fan seiner Musik. Schon im letzten Jahr durfte ich bei mir im Studio die Fotos für die Kommunikation des Albums machen. Auch wenn wir uns jetzt schon einige Jahre kennen und ich schon einiges an Bildmaterial beisteuern durfte, war es das erste Mal, dass wir beide uns im Studio für Portraits trafen. Die Artworks für das Album-Cover von Nachtigall und die Single-Cover stammen übrigens von seinem guten Freund Eugen Schramm und sind mit der Hand gemalt.

Künstlerin Veronika Moos in ihrem Atelier

Veronika Moos ist Bildhauerin. In ihrer Kunst arbeitete sie mit Fundmaterial aus der Natur, kein Wunder, dass in ihrem Atelier im Quartier am Hafen also auch Treibgut aus dem Rhein zu finden ist. Sie ist eine meiner direkten Flurnachbarn im 3. Stock und immer mal wieder habe ich in den letzten Jahren mit ihr über die Kunst, das Künstlerhaus und das Leben philosophiert. Meistens spontan, meistens ungeplant, oft bei einem Glas Wein und fast immer über mehrere Stunden.

Jetzt kämpft auch Veronika gegen die Folgen des Tornados in Köln. Fast alle Materialien und Kunstwerke, die noch zu retten waren, hat sie bereits aus ihrem Atelier gerettet und umgezogen. Jetzt deuten nur noch ein paar abgedeckte Einrichtungsgegenstände und Überreste von Hängungen auf ihre künstlerische Arbeit hin. Während Planen eindringendes Regenwasser gezielt umleiten, auffangen und Industriemaschinen die Luft entfeuchten.

Michael Peltzer ist einer meiner Studio-Nachbarn im Quartier am Hafen und gehört zu den ersten Mietern des Künstlerhauses. Kennengelernt habe ich ihn allerdings erst an der Theke bei der Museumsnacht 2022. Mit seinem Atelier an der Kopfseite des Hauses ist auch er von den Auswirkungen des Tornados betroffen und kämpft mit stoischer Ruhe gegen Wasser und andere Schäden. Ich habe ihn kürzlich bei der Schadensaufnahme in seinem Atelier besucht und ein paar Porträts des Malers und leidenschaftlichen Vinyl-Sammlers fotografieren dürfen.

Neue Portraits für Künstlerin Aleksandra Eckes

Letzte Woche durfte ich die Kölner Künstlerin Aleksandra Eckes portraitieren. Sie malt so wunderschön ruhige, farbenfrohe und entspannte Bilder und ich bin ein riesengroßer Fan ihrer Arbeit. Auch in meiner Wohnung hängt eins ihrer Werke. Umso mehr freute ich mich, als sie mich für Porträtfotos für ihre sozialen Kanäle und ihre Website anfragte.

Aufgrund der aktuellen Situation wichen wir für das Shooting ins Studio Whylder nach Ehrenfeld aus. Riesendankeschön an der Stelle auch nochmal an die Agentur whylder für den Support in der aktuellen Situation.

Vato – Founder and craftsman from Clasik Studio

Vato is an artist, designer and craftsman. He runs the Clasik.studio from his atelier and produces unique pieces of concrete furniture. I visited him and took some portraits. He shares his studio with his dog Udo.
