Ziemlich genau ein Jahr ist es her, dass ich Janosch das erste Mal getroffen habe, im Juni 2023. Eher zufällig. Im Rahmen des Designfestivals in der Wachsfabrik in Köln zeigte er ein paar seiner Arbeiten und gestaltete gleichzeitig vier Überseecontainer auf dem Gelände um. Wir kamen ins Gespräch und kurzerhand bekamen auch meine Birkenstocks ein kleines Farbupdate von Janosch. Als er mir auf Instagram sein Atelier zeigte – was einfach ein still gelegter Pool ist – war klar: Den Mann muss ich mal besuchen.
